BWFBloomington.org is the website for Bloomington Worldwide Friendship abbreviated as BWF in Bloomington, IN. BWF matches foreign visitors who come to Indiana University with community members and families for the purpose of cultural exchange.
In order to match people, we ask users of our website to fill in and submit a form. There is a form for community ambassadors and a form for foreign visitors. The data on the forms is not shared outside BWF and is deleted from the web database once a match is permanently made.
The forms contain information such as:
- Name
- Local Address
- Email Address
- Phone number
- Gender
- Family Status
- Occupation/Field of study
- Hobbies/Interests
- Dietary Restrictions if any
By filling out the form the user gives permission to BWF to use the defined email address for communication with them.
