We enjoy showing students something that they may not opt to do on their own. Some will not have seen a basketball game even though they are living on campus. So we offer a group activity to see basketball live.
It starts by gathering in the lobby to sit together.
BWF hosts and students gathered at IU Assembly Hall at 1:30 on Sunday, January 20, to cheer the Women’s Basketball team. Many of the international students had not seen a college level sporting event even though some admitted that they had actually played basketball during their schooling in their home country.
Our students report that being at a live game is much different from seeing it on TV.
